Vinyl Room is now open on the rooftop of Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, a music-driven dining and nightlife destination pairing high-fidelity listening with bold Asian-inspired cuisine, music-inspired cocktails, and panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip.
Created by Live Nation and MGM Resorts, the 15,000-square-foot destination features three main spaces, including the 78 Lounge, the 45 Dining Room and the exclusive 33 Members Room. Vinyl Room draws inspiration from Japanese high-fidelity listening lounges of the 1970s. Guests can settle in for happy hour, share dishes over dinner, and indulge in the incredible cocktail menu as the experience evolves from sunset into late night.
Designed for Sound, Built for Story
Vinyl Room was designed with music at its core. Every detail, from its acoustically tuned spaces and curated vinyl collection to the culinary and cocktail programs, is intended to encourage guests to listen and connect with intention.
Designed by Blueprint Studio, every element of Vinyl Room was created to support an immersive, music-first experience. “The experience starts with music. We approached the project as a listening room inspired by the iconic Japanese hi-fi lounges of the 1970s, then thoughtfully layered in a dining and cocktail program that complements, rather than competes with, the music,” said David Codiga, President of Blueprint Studio.
Vinyl Room’s collection of nearly 5,000 vinyl records — many by artists who have performed in Las Vegas — sits alongside signed albums, vintage audio equipment and rare music memorabilia, connecting the venue to the city’s rich entertainment legacy. A custom wheatpaste poster wall by Memphis-based papermaker Colleen Couch pays tribute to decades of Las Vegas performances, drawing on a longstanding music-culture tradition of turning walls into living archives.
Asian-Inspired Flavors, Vegas Style
Vinyl Room’s culinary program brings together bold Asian-inspired flavors, premium ingredients and familiar dishes with unexpected twists, all designed for sharing. Signature offerings include Sushi Tots, Chili Crunch Chicken Wings, King Crab Head Dumplings and the 42-ounce Wagyu Tomahawk Steak.
“We built the menu around bold flavor, high-quality ingredients and dishes that surprise you,” said Andy Yates, Head of Food & Beverage. Dining at Vinyl Room is designed to mirror the experience of listening to a vinyl record from front to back, encouraging guests to share dishes and explore the menu together.
Music runs through the beverage program, too, with cocktails and zero-proof offerings inspired by iconic songs and designed to reflect the notes, mood and character of the music. Highlights include Strawberry Moon, an El Tesoro Reposado Tequila margarita with strawberry and gochujang; House of the Rising Sun, a martini featuring Haku Vodka and Junmai sake; and Superfly, a refreshing blend of Roku Gin, lemon, yuzu and sencha that is also available as a zero-proof cocktail.
Sunset Views, Late-Night Sound
From sunset cocktails and panoramic Strip views to vinyl DJ sets and listening sessions after dark, Vinyl Room evolves throughout the evening. Daily Sunset Sessions (6–9 p.m.) feature DJs spinning laid-back selections that complement golden hour, creating the perfect atmosphere for conversation, cocktails and sweeping views of the Las Vegas Strip. On Mondays, Disco’s Revenge brings the energy of a downtown disco night with classic disco, deep grooves, funk and more. Tuesdays belong to Pura Vida, a celebration of Latin culture with reggaeton, Latin pop, salsa, bachata and more.

Membership at Vinyl Room includes exclusive access to the private 33 Members Room, dedicated concierge service, members-only events, Las Vegas concert ticket credits and more. Vinyl Room is also available for private events, including corporate gatherings, brand activations, receptions and celebrations.
