HISTORY Ottawa opened its doors today, bringing a new era of live entertainment to Canada's capital. Located at 47 Rideau Street in the ByWard Market, the 2,000-capacity venue delivers world-class artists, premium fan experiences and year-round programming to the city.

An expansion of the acclaimed HISTORY Toronto, the venue features state-of-the-art sound and lighting, elevated hospitality and flexible configurations for concerts, comedy, galas, community events and more.

Year one is already stacked: 200+ events and a growing lineup of Canadian and international artists.

The impact goes beyond the stage. Local hiring has filled 100+ jobs, and the venue is expected to drive new business to restaurants, hotels and retailers across downtown Ottawa.
