Scott and Alexis Fisher have spent 15 years building in the creator economy. Now, for the first time, the husband-and-wife team is building something together: Creator Nation, backed by Live Nation, which will help creators turn followers into lasting fans.

What is Creator Nation, and why build it now?

Scott: We've watched creators go from posting videos to running real companies, with products, shows, brand deals and tours. Creator Nation will give them the support to match, by supporting the businesses around them that help them thrive.

Alexis: The timing felt right. Creators have so much momentum right now, and the opportunities around them keep growing. We want to help them make the most of it.

You've both spent your careers in the creator economy. What's it like to build something together?

Alexis: For so many years, Scott and I each had our own separate companies, essentially competing with each other.  We were building our own businesses in the same space while always being each other’s biggest supporters. We’ve had a front-row seat to each other’s careers and now the timing finally feels right to bring those experiences together. There’s something really exciting about joining forces not just to build a business together, but to help shape what the future of the creator economy can look like.

Scott: We see the same opportunity from different angles. I think about building the businesses around a creator, and Alexis thinks about deepening their connection with fans. Together, that's the whole picture.

What does it mean to turn followers into fans?

Alexis: It's about building on the connection creators already have. When people love your content, they want more of it. They buy what you create, follow you into your next project, champion the brands you believe in and come see you when you're in town. We want to help creators strengthen every one of those relationships.

Scott: Fandom takes time to build, but once you have it, it lasts. That's what makes it such a strong foundation for a creator's career.

Why partner with Live Nation?

Scott: When we looked at who really understands the relationship between talent and fans, Live Nation was the obvious partner. Creators are building those same relationships, and that's where we can help.

Alexis: Our partnership with Live Nation started with Timeline and has continued to evolve ever since. Creator Nation is  the natural next step. There’s nobody better than Live Nation at understanding the relationship between talent and fans, and we wanted a partner that could help creators turn their influence into long-term careers, from brands to content to consumer products to touring and live experiences.

What's next for Creator Nation?

Alexis: Building the team. We're looking for people who know creators and the world around them.

Scott: We’ve already hit the ground running. We expect to share exciting announcements in the coming months and we are building an incredible team to support our partners and help scale Creator Nation. We’re moving quickly, thinking big, and are excited to share what’s next.
